Bolt Bar & Patio, currently located at 114 McKinley Street, will soon be moving into a larger space at 222 Jefferson Street in Downtown Lafayette, formerly occupied by the Pearl music venue.
“We decided to move because we have outgrown our current building and needed more space,” according to their social media team. “We are known for our entertainment and moving downtown positions us to do great things for not only our Lgbtq+ community but for everyone from all walks of life.”
Bolt is Lafayette’s LGTBQ+ bar, better known for drag shows and all that jazz. They have moved locations a few times throughout their life but will soon make their Jefferson Street debut.
The tentative opening date is set for sometime in July, after Pride month(June).
