Candle Gift Shop, a new family-owned retail store, is now open at 2865 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in the Albertsons Shopping Center on W. Congress Street in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Founded by Sam, the store’s name is tied to his wife, شمعة, whose name translated from Arabic to English is “Candle”.
Inside, customers will find a mix of items including imported decorative products, novelty items, pillar candles, riding bags, and seasonal merchandise. Additional inventory and expanded displays are expected as the store continues settling into the space following its recent opening.
The store was designed to offer “something for everyone,” whether customers are shopping for birthdays, holidays, weddings, church events, school functions, or general gifts. They also offer discounted pricing for larger quantity purchases, including bulk orders for churches, schools, weddings, and community organizations.
Candle Gift Shop joins the already active Ambassador Caffery retail corridor and adds another locally operated business to the Albertsons Shopping Center area.
Their store operates from Monday to Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, the store is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. And on Sundays, the store is open from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
