Construction has officially started on the new Legends Bar & Grill location coming soon to 4401 Johnston Street in Lafayette, near the intersection of Camellia Boulevard.
The existing Johnston Street location, next door to McDonald’s, will move to this new location.

The new Legends, designed by STELLCO Construction, will measure about 3,000 square feet with an additional 2,100 square feet of patio space, divided between the front and side of the restaurant. The layout and look will be similar to the Legends location in Scott on Apollo Road, featuring the a signature long, curved bar and a fresh, ground-up design.

Founded in 2003, Legends has grown into a Lafayette staple with several locations throughout Acadiana. This Johnston Street project marks one of the brand’s largest custom-built restaurants to date.
Construction is expected to run through the rest of the year, with an anticipated opening in early 2026.
