Oliver Lane Creative Studio, a DIY creative entertainment venue, is coming soon to Downtown Lafayette at 425 Jefferson Street, between popular spots like Central Pizza, Sunday’s Soda Fountain, and The Flats.
Named after local founder & owner Shayna Bolgiano’s son, Oliver Lane, the creative studio specializes in customer-created, custom DIY canvas art, vinyl and wood art, and 3D laser-cut sign art. Guests can book a party at the studio, choose their preferred art style, and explore their creativity to craft personalized works of art in a fun and welcoming environment.

Initially a home-based business, Oliver Lane Creative Studio first expanded out of the home and into a space located at 114 Youngsville Hwy. In the new space, Bolgiano envisioned a space where clients could actively participate in crafting their own creations while enjoying a social atmosphere—a concept that has been welcomed by the community.

For years, Shayna has dreamed of having a space in Downtown Lafayette. However, back then, this was just a dream.
“In 2021, I inquired about a downtown location and when me and my mom peaked through the windows I told her ‘one day I’ll be down here, one day’,” said Shayna in a recent social media post.

How cool is it to be in 2024 and seeing this local small business growing and fulfilling a dream once had? I think it’s safe to say that all of us small local business owners are happy for her and her business!
Shayna expresses the surrealism stating, “As luck would have it, here I am in 2024, still a mom, still doing my best, AND going to have my studio on one of the best blocks on Jefferson Street. *pinch me* it’s real, and it’s happening!”

With the new location in Downtown Lafayette, Oliver Lane Creative Studio will begin offering walk-in services such as our ceramics and impressions. They have a few other things in the works as well.
Shayna adds, “Lots of events are in the works to really help bring people and families downtown to enhance the experience!”
