Community Bank has purchased the former Panera Bread restaurant at 4525 Ambassador Caffery near Costco in Lafayette.
Chris Tassin, Information Security Officer for CLB The Community Bank says that “We hope to start renovations in the next few months. Once renovations are completed, this will be an additional branch location for us.”
Currently, CLB has one location at 2702 Johnston Street & South College. This branch will remain open as new branch locations are constructed.
“These are additional steps we’re taking in our effort to further our commitment to the community and surrounding areas,” says Tassin.
There are also plans to open a Carencro location at 3500 NE Evangeline Thruway, creating a total of three Lafayette parish branches.
We estimate that the Panera Bread building will be renovated and converted into CLB by early 2022.
