In August, we shared that the local restaurant, Bon Temps Grill, located on Verot School Road, would be relocating & expanding into the former Blue Dog Café at 1211 W. Pinhook. See announcement post (here).
It has been almost three months since that announcement; and after extensive renovations and updates, Bon Temps Grill is ready to open for service beginning Monday, November 16th, 2020.
If you are curious about how it looks on the inside, don’t worry, we’ve got you. We were also curious and decided to stop in on Saturday to check it out. See the photos below.
For those of you who have not heard about Bon Temps Grill, they are a great locally owned restaurant cooking up some killer Cajun-fusion style cuisine. My favorite dishes are the Sweet Chili & Honey Grilled Chicken Breast and the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. Washed down with a cold, sweet iced tea; I’m primed to slap my mama. But don’t take my word, go give them a try.
One thing to note, the original Blue Dog Café entrance has been closed off and moved over for improved Feng shui. No more walking around the fireplace. Now there is more seating around the fireplace. There are a ton of other little details, but you’ll need to go visit them.
