A BBQ Joint birthed out of passion and necessity for good local barbecue is working to open their first location at 1000 Albertsons Parkway in Broussard.
Established in 2014, they are, No Good Sons BBQ & Boil. These guys serve Central Texas style cue that looks and surely taste amazing. In the photos below, you can see how their meats have this dark bark that only forms during a low and slow cooking process. It may look burnt, but you’d be wrong.
Lafayette has plenty of great restaurants, and sprinkled in the mix are a few good barbecue joints, but nothing like you would see in big BBQ states like Tennessee or Texas. No Good Sons BBQ will aid in providing Acadiana with that good BBQ that many crave. Did you know that a bad side dish could kill the rest of your BBQ meal. Though, that’s true with many foods, but especially with barbecue.
No Good Sons offers up some classic side dishes like rice dressing with made from scratch stock, bacon baked beans, coleslaw, and a potato salad that will be introduced at the opening of their first location.
