Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is coming soon in Carencro, Louisiana. The well-known restaurant will be located at the 3500 block of NE Evangeline Thruway, in front of the Center Square shopping center, which includes Great American Cookie, Marble Slab, Wing Stop, and The UPS Store.

This new location will feature Walk-On’s latest prototype design, offering a more efficient footprint of approximately 5,300 to 5,500 square feet—nearly half the size of the original 10,000-square-foot model that we all know. The redesigned layout includes a dedicated to-go space for added convenience, enhanced acoustics for sound control, and strategically placed TVs to optimize the sports-viewing experience.

Walk-On’s, founded by former LSU walk-on basketball player Brandon Landry, is known for its scratch-made Louisiana-inspired cuisine and vibrant game-day environment. The menu offers a mix of Cajun and American classics, including hand-pattied burgers, fresh seafood dishes, signature poboys, and shareable game-day favorites like boudin balls and waffle cheese fries. Guests can also enjoy specialty cocktails, local craft beers, and a selection of desserts to round out their meal. Whether stopping in for a quick lunch, a family dinner, or to catch the big game with friends, Walk-On’s aims to deliver a top-tier sports bar experience with Southern hospitality at its core.

This Carencro location is part of a 10-unit portfolio operated by Ten Eight Concepts, LLC, a locally owned and managed franchise group. Alongside locations in Lafayette, LA, Baytown, TX, Port Arthur, TX, Lake Charles, LA, Prairieville, LA, Gonzales, LA, Zachary, LA, Town Center – Baton Rouge, and Hammond, LA, the group is led by Tony Caballero, President & CEO, Janelle Dufrene, CFO, Keegan Lanier, VP of Operations, and Cody Vercher, Director of Operations & Hospitality. While Ten Eight Concepts manages several Walk-On’s locations, it was not involved in the Broussard, LA franchise. Committed to staying local and growing locally, the group continues to expand with a focus on strengthening its presence in Louisiana and the surrounding region.
Walk-On’s of Carencro is tentatively set to be completed in early 2026, maybe sooner pending any construction delays. Plans for the new restaurant are currently being reviewed and construction should begin within the coming weeks once a permit is on file.
