The building’s facade has been partially repainted in bright blue, and interior framing is now visible behind construction fencing as crews continue renovations.
Founded in Texas, Urban Air is a national indoor adventure park chain that offers a variety of active attractions geared toward kids, families, and group events. The Lafayette location is said to include features like trampolines, climbing walls, a ropes course, and obstacle course-style activities.

Designed to provide an all-in-one entertainment space, the park will also offer party rooms, a café area for parents, and other recreational zones. It’s expected to operate with flexible pricing options, including memberships and single-day passes.
Located in the Ambassador Row shopping center between Skechers and Supercuts, the project repurposes a high-traffic retail spot that has remained vacant since Bed Bath & Beyond closed.
No official opening date has been announced, but visible progress shows that they are moving ahead quickly.
