Shawn “Uncle Luck” Bernard, local comedian, has opened Uncle Luck’s Express Café in the former Popeye’s space at 930 Veterans Drive in Carencro.
The concept is all about serving up fresh, daily Cajun-Creole cuisine. Uncle Luck’s Express Café’s signature dishes are the chicken and bread pudding complete with special sauce.
Shawn first opened his concept in Downtown Lafayette at 116 E Vermilion Street but has since downsized. See that post here.
