A new Tractor Supply location is coming soon to Lafayette, Louisiana, at 262 Ridge Road, directly across from WCC Furniture.
Over the past decade, Tractor Supply has expanded throughout the Acadiana region, opening locations in Scott, Carencro, Ville Platte, and other surrounding communities. With the city of Lafayette being the next location to open, it seems that the company is actively working to grow its presence within metropolitan borders.

Traditionally known as a rural-based retailer, Tractor Supply focuses on farm, ranch, home, and outdoor products. Typical products include animal feed and supplies, fencing, tools, workwear, apparel, lawn and garden products, and seasonal merchandise. At certain times of the year, you can find live baby chickens or “chicks”. Kids love the baby chicks! And I personally love the sound of baby chicks. Not sure why.

Tractor Supply also has a collection of motor vehicles including side-by-sides, mowers, and even go-karts. In fact, you can buy all of the parts to build a go-kart from scratch. How cool is that!?
The expansion of Tractor Supply into Lafayette indicates a broader strategy by the company to reach a customer base that would have otherwise avoided visiting a store due to its location outside the city.
When it comes to an expected opening date for the new Tractor Supply on Ridge Road, there are no firm dates. However, we can estimate that it will be open by mid to late summer of this year, 2026.
