The Play Place, a locally owned small business in Broussard, LA, is expanding from its current 800-square-foot space to a new location twice the size at 1,600 square feet!
Currently located at 730 A Albertson Parkway, The Play Place will be moving to 604 S Morgan Street, closer to Downtown Broussard. The new, larger space will provide expanded play areas for more children, additional play activities, a designated party room, more operating days with extended hours, and an increased age range accommodating kids up to 8 years old instead of 5.

The Play Place first opened in September 2024, offering parents and guardians a safe space for children to enjoy playtime. The facility features a variety of toys, tunnels, climbing structures, slides, ball pits, and playhouse toys for all ages. They also offer birthday party packages.
A tentative opening date for the new location has not been set, but once renovations are complete, an announcement will be made. It is estimated that the new space could be open by the end of March.
