A new skate park is coming soon to downtown at 124 S Buchanan Street called, The Levee Skateplace, and it will be Lafayette’s only in-operation skate park. The new parks owner, Logan, has stated that the park will have a skate shop so that you can pick up gear there without having to leave. Logan also stated that the price to skate would be about $10 per day, or you could purchase a membership to skate at a discounted rate.
