Small Cakes, the bakery and ice cream parlor, located at 107 Hector Connoly in Carencro, will reopen its doors this week under new ownership. Small Cakes has been in the community for a few years, and locals are eagerly anticipating their return.
Under the new ownership, Small Cakes aims to continue its craft of baking 12 signature cupcake flavors from scratch each morning. Customers can look forward to classic favorites like chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet, as well as a selection of specialty flavors that will be rotated throughout the week. The aroma of freshly baked cupcakes will once again fill the air in the Cro.
What sets Small Cakes apart is not just their tasty cupcakes but also their small-batch, made-in-house ice cream. The creamy goodness will be used to create a variety of mouthwatering treats, including milkshakes and cupcake shakes. Customers can even enjoy a unique creation called the cupcake smash, where a cupcake is split in two and filled with scoops of ice cream. And let’s not forget about our four-legged friends – Small Cakes will also offer Pupcakes, specially made cupcakes for dogs.
Small Cakes in Carencro is set to reopen this Saturday, June 17th. And according to their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/smallcakescupcakerycarencro?mibextid=LQQJ4d, the first 25 customers will earn free cupcakes for a whole year!
