Our Lady of Lourdes first broke ground on the new 13,307 sq ft facility back in October of 2018. Featured inside is a 9-bed ER, lab, and full imaging services like X-Ray, Ultrasound, and an ambulance drop-off outback for critical emergencies.
This new full-scale emergency center is a $9 million investment into the community of Acadiana.
The new Our Lady of Lourdes Emergency Center is open 24/7 and is staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and clinical team members. It serves as Interstate 10’s primary point for stabilizing patients. If patients need intensive care or surgery, they will then be transported to the appropriate hospital.
This facility is a game changer for folks living & traveling along the I-10 corridor in South Louisiana; making quality, reliable care much more accessible.
