A well-known local restaurant, Shane’s Famous Quesadilla Burgers, is expanding with a second location opening tomorrow, Wednesday, November 5th, at 803 W. Pinhook Road—the same site where the brand first got its start.
“We’re not closing the Congress location. We’re simply opening another spot on the Pinhook side,” said Shane, the owner. “The demand has been strong, and we’re excited to serve that part of town again.”

The new Pinhook restaurant will debut a fast-casual format, offering counter service and a drive-thru pickup window for online and call-in orders. Shane said this setup reflects what customers want most.
“We’ve noticed our food is comfort food. People want to grab it and take it home. So we’re focusing on speed without changing our fresh ingredients and process.”

While the menu at the Pinhook location will be smaller than the Congress Street restaurant, it will still feature Shane’s most popular staples including the signature Quesadilla Burger, the Shane-O-Mac Burger loaded with mac and cheese, and the Lafayette Burger topped with crawfish queso. Guests can also expect items like Swamp Fries and other well-loved comfort options, all made fresh to order using the same methods that built Shane’s following.
In addition to the restaurant, the space will continue to house Shane’s catering business, Ça C’est Bon Catering, which has operated from the Pinhook building in recent years.
