A new proposal for a Lafayette skate park is going to the council today at 5:00pm at 705 W University Avenue.
The proposal is for phase one to be constructed at Thomas park, 300 Geraldine Dr.
Lafayette, LA, with a proposed budget of $250,000.
Lafayette is the fifth largest city, according to population count. While this may not seem like much, it’s enough to consider Lafayette large enough that the skate community would benefit from such a park.
