A new locally owned Ace Hardware store is coming soon to 501 N Church Street, just outside of downtown Carencro, Louisiana.
The new store, Pelican Ace Hardware & Lumber, will span 11,000 square feet, with an additional 2,400 square feet of warehouse space—bringing a full-service hardware and building supply option to the city.

Known for its customer-focused service and neighborhood-store feel, the new Ace Hardware store in Carencro is expected to offer a wide selection of tools, paint, electrical and plumbing supplies, lawn and garden products, grills, outdoor gear, and seasonal décor. With the added warehouse space, it will also carry lumber and building materials, making it a convenient all-in-one shop for both DIYers and contractors.
A tentative opening date is set for September 1st, 2025.
