The old Brewski’s at 5503 Johnston Street is now being renovated by the new occupant, Sakaya Japanese Cuisine. Sakaya is currently located in Abbeville. It isn’t known yet if this is a 2nd location or a move, but surely we will find out soon.
Some of the renovations to happen are a bar, sushi bar, outside front, and a temp partition in dining.
The renovations are mainly cosmetic and will not change the occupancy size. The parking lot appears to also have some renovations of its own happening.
