Destiny of Faith Church, located at 409 Patterson Street in North Lafayette, has just moved into a newly completed 45,000 square-foot facility capable of seating 700+ churchgoers. The project started over five years ago with a goal of reaching more of North Lafayette’s community.
Previously located at 1900 Cameron Street, inside of a shopping strip near N. University, Destiny of Faith managed to be good stewards of the funds raised from a congregation of about 300 members that believe in a greater vision for the community. Led by Pastor’s Ken and Mary Lazard, the church seeks to empower people to impact their communities and the world!
Some of the most notable features of the new campus for Destiny of Faith is the bright and engaging children’s wing where kids of all ages can learn, experience, and grow in age-appropriate ways. An open, connective lobby area encourages fellowship, and connection that can also be used for small or larger gatherings. Future additions include a full-service café with enough seating for a large party.
Established 17 years ago, one of the missions for Destiny of Faith Church is directed toward community beautification, unity and fellowship among our peers—other local churches— spreading the word of God through regular church services, small groups, and events that are open to all. The church is also big on community investment, both current and future, through neighborhood school partnerships, community health partnerships, business, and residential developments.
This Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 at 6 pm, Destiny of Faith Church will host a grand opening celebration for their new facility and all are welcome in celebrating their new campus. See graphic below.
