Taco Bell is making a fiery move in Broussard with a new standalone location coming soon to 1106 E Main Street, near Hwy 90.
According to recently posted building permits, this new Taco Bell restaurant is being developed by B&G Food Enterprises LLC, a major Taco Bell franchisee, with construction led by Jerry Kachel Builder Inc.

Currently, Taco Bell operates in Broussard at 1209 Albertson Pkwy, inside the Sweetland shopping center. However, once the new location is completed, the existing restaurant will close, consolidating operations into the new, more accessible standalone store. Interestingly, Taco Bell’s tall pylon sign has long stood near Hwy 90—right where the new restaurant is being built, making this a natural transition. It’s almost as if this was the plan for a long time.

Taco Bell is known for its squirrelly menu and late-night cravings, offering fan-favorite menu items like the Crunchwrap Supreme (my personal favorite—don’t get rid of it, TB!), Doritos Locos Tacos, Cheesy Gordita Crunch, and Baja Blasts. With an ever-evolving menu, the brand continues to excite & piss off its loyal customers by bringing in new and innovative Tex-Mex-inspired options, and then almost immediately ripping them from our still-sauced hands. You suck, Taco Bell! But, we still begrudgingly love you.
Construction is underway for the new Taco Bell location and is expected to open later this year.
