A new public library, called West Regional Public Library, is under construction at 513 Old Spanish Trail in Scott — near the corner of Apollo Road.
The construction started about mid-year of 2017. The parking lot is partially complete, and the slab for the library building appears to be nearing completion.
The new West Regional Public Library will be 17,500+ square feet in size. It will offer many of the same great attributes that the other local public libraries offer, like study rooms, a large conference room, story time area, computers and much more.
There isn’t an estimated completion date for the new library, yet. But if we had to guess, we’d say first quarter of 2019.
