Bunker Labs, a national non-profit helping veteran, military spouse, and active military entrepreneurs, will celebrate the official opening of the Lafayette chapter on November 9, 2020, at LITE Center Auditorium at 6 P.M. & virtually on Zoom & Facebook at 7 P.M.
Bunker Labs seeks to inspire veterans, active military, and military spouses to start their own business by providing them proper training, resources, and connections.
The Lafayette chapter is the first Bunker Labs chapter in Louisiana.
“We are thrilled to be adding the Lafayette community to our Bunker Labs network,” said Bunker Labs CEO Blake Hogan. “The military community uniquely possesses many of the skills that allow for successful business owners. Bunker Labs is excited to foster those skills within the broad Louisiana military-connected community and support the incredible impact they can make.”
The Lafayette chapter’s volunteer Ambassadors, Aaron Lawrence and Andrew Ward have spent the last six months building momentum for the new chapter by establishing strong business connections and speaking with military-connected entrepreneurs throughout Louisiana. “It’s truly an honor to be able to give back and support our veteran brothers and sisters in this way”, said Ward. “I know that my time in the military was one of the defining moments in my life, and now to be able to use that experience, combined with positive entrepreneurial and economic development efforts through Bunker Labs, is a win-win for all that get involved.”
“Acadiana Veteran Alliance, LEDA, and Opportunity Machine partnered to bring Bunker Labs to Acadiana and are excited to shine a national spotlight on our region.” says Ambassador Andrew Ward.
