This month, in our Cox Business Entrepreneur Profile, we highlight a young, energetic, business owner and personal coach who invokes a drive in many young minds in the community. His name is Nathaniel Moore, and he is the President of Little Blessings Childcare & Preschool.
Raised in Carencro, Nathaniel has been apart of the daycare business for over 11 years. In high school, he was active in several sports, like Basketball, Football, and he also ran Track. Growing up, Nathaniel was more of a shy guy, but you would not think that of him today. His presence is welcoming, and after speaking with him for any length of time, you feel as if you are able to take on a new challenge in your life with little reservation.
Nathaniel’s business, Little Blessings, consists of five locations throughout Lafayette Parish with over 400 kids enrolled, currently. Many of the Little Blessings locations were once existing daycare facilities that Nathaniel has purchased, renovated, and has reopened them as a Little Blessings facility. When a previous daycare is acquired by Nathaniel, many changes take place before it becomes a Little Blessings center.
When we acquire a new center, there is a couple things that we look for that immediately has to come out of the center. Number one is TV’s, and number two is adult-size chairs and desk.
Nathaniel, and the Little Blessings staff believe that in order to make a meaningful connection with children, you need to be on their level. This comes from a foundation that Nathaniel, and Little Blessings are based upon, which is relationships, and growth. They are truly passionate about their work with children for which they take care.
