Carencro is a growing area in Lafayette parish. Perhaps it is not growing at the same rate as other areas, but still growing. We recently spotted a fresh residential development that has started, called Moss Bluff. That’s right, the same name as the city Moss Bluff in Calcasieu parish. It is located on Moss street, north of Gloria Switch Road and will have about 96 lots with a lake and pool area. There is also another subdivision being built on side of Moss Bluff, so this will be a nice place if you are looking for that country feel while still in the city.
