Crews are finalizing interior details and landscaping this week, with exterior signage scheduled to be installed in the coming weeks.

When we first shared news of the project back in March, the announcement drew major interest from local families. Enrollment inquiries and waitlist signups quickly followed, and many parents have already secured their spot. For those still considering, limited spaces remain available.

Rendering vs Reality

Founded by Dillon and Chrystal Quebedeaux, the school is Acadiana’s first Christian Montessori preschool. With capacity for 181 children, the academy combines the Montessori method with a faith-based foundation, focusing on independence, respect, and hands-on learning. Certified teachers, along with assistants and floaters, will help maintain a low child-to-staff ratio, ensuring a personalized experience for each student.

The public will get a first look inside at an Open House on Thursday, September 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Families are invited to tour the new facility, meet the staff, and learn more about the school’s curriculum.

Spots are limited, and early bird pricing is currently available for families who register now.

Little Light of Mine Montessori Academy is designed & constructed by Chase Group Construction.
