Jet Coffee, a 100% locally founded, locally owned, and locally operated coffee business, has officially opened its 5th location at 3123 Johnston Street, formerly Johnston Street Java(JSJ).
Hold up, this is their 4th location, right? Right, this is their 4th detached location but their 5th location in total as The Hangar is technically another location within a location. As for the new Midtown location of Jet Coffee, the former JSJ space has been completely renovated from the inside out. Starting with the inside, the space received Jet’s signature theme featuring a white & black color scheme with warm wood accents. The furniture, unique to this location, features all wood furniture including the chairs as well as the tables, which include 1500+-year-old live edge cypress that was literally pulled out of the Atchafalaya basin. How cool! Another fun interior detail is the living room-style corner, a large communal live edge cypress table, and these fun little window nooks that feature soft cushions for a cozy setting.

The exterior of the new Jet Coffee at Midtown features the same color scheme, a dual-lane drive-thru similar to Chick-fil-A, and a new large covered patio that features 3 large air mover fans, tons of cushioned seating, a propane fire pit, and patio-style living spaces complete with a TV, coffee table, and comfortable seating. A fun detail about the outdoor patio is that instead of traditional gutters for the rainwater, Jet went with rain chains which are more aesthetically pleasing and can aid in a relaxing vibe during rainy days.
