We have finally got an update for everyone asking us about Superior Grill Mexican Restaurant opening soon at 2320 Kaliste Saloom Road. They are opening next month, in the middle of July!
Now that’s out of the way, here’s what you need to know. It’s a Mexican restaurant concept that was first announced to be coming soon to Lafayette in December of 2021. Superior Grill is widely known throughout the Baton Rouge and Shreveport area. Their menu consists of many staple dishes found in Mexican restaurants like fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, steak, and chicken. Their bar along with their drink menu comes highly recommended as some of the best drinks around. But the star-of-the-show is the huge, well-down outdoor spaces, including the multi-climate spaces that convert to indoor spaces during inclement weather. So how much emphasis has been applied to the outdoor spaces? Enough to justify seating for 100s in the outdoor spaces alone not counting the indoor-only spaces. A portion of the outdoor space is also dog friendly with added waste receptacles & bags for dog waste.
Other notable features include tons of local and import artwork & artifacts, authentic tile work throughout the restaurant, bike racks, and a private meeting/dining space with multimedia hookups and wireless connectivity.
