Phở Hòa Noodle Soup & Jazen Tea, a new Vietnamese restaurant & specialty tea bar, is now open at 4510 Ambassador Caffery.
In just a few short months, the Pho Hoa Team—pronounced something like “fuh wah”—renovated the once dark, closed in space of the former Wasabi Sushi & Grill into a brighter & inviting space.
The moment you walk in you are presented with a centralized bar area that is designed for vegetable prep. Here, you can place an order to-go, or find a seat to enjoy the vibe of the restaurant. The menu is filled with adventurous pho dishes, rice plates, banh mi, and other various items. Not feeling adventurous? Then go traditional, and be basic like that, cher.
One of my favorite parts about Pho Hoa is the Jazen specialty teas. I LOVE tea; black, white green, milk, and fruity—I don’t judge. In the video below, I ordered the tutti fruity, which has bits of mango & strawberry mixed with green tea; yum! That sounded like an audio clip from the movie Hot Chick with Rob Snyder.
