Jersey Mike’s Subs is opening its first Lafayette, Louisiana location at 4533 Johnston Street Suite 200 on Wednesday, January 31st. The popular sub sandwich chain, founded in 1956 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, has been delivering authentic taste and quality for over six decades.
Fun fact: There is no one named Mike in the founding of the company.

Spanning 1600 square feet, the new Jersey Mike’s location features a beach vibe inspired by the shores of Point Pleasant, NJ.
From the authentic Jersey bread, baked oven-fresh daily, the leanest of meats, like USDA Choice Top Rounds Roast Beef, locally sourced produce(when available), to fine aged cheeses, Jersey Mike’s ensures a premium product that is sure to be “A Sub Above” the rest. Notice, we said sub… not po-boy, Martha! No one is forgetting about the Poor Boys.

The franchise has an annual charitable initiative known as the “Day of Giving.” On the last Wednesday of March, franchise owners and operators donate 100% of sales to local charities. In Lafayette, Jersey Mike’s has partnered with Maddie’s Footprints, a non-profit near & dear to our hearts for their give-back efforts. We love that! They have also partnered with Ochsner Lafayette General Foundation as their Grand Opening charity partner.
