Founded by Wesley Mayeux, a Louisiana native with over two decades of experience in men’s fashion, His Essentials & Co. is the realization of a longtime dream. Originally from Bunkie, Wesley spent 17 years at Nordstrom and worked with the clothing brand David Donahue, gaining extensive knowledge of the industry. His goal is to bring high-quality fashion, exceptional service, and a welcoming shopping experience to Lafayette.
His Essentials & Co. is now open, with a grand opening celebration set for April 12, 2025. The event will feature giveaways, music, food, drinks, and a special appearances by Mario Ranieri, founder of Live Live Supply, and Nichalos Gallimore, founder of Mud Cat Whiskers, a local men’s grooming company with live product demos.
