UPDATE: Recipes are not changing.
The local donut shop in Scott, LA, called Gautreaux’s Donuts, recently sold to a new set of local owners, Jared Billeaudeau & Crystal Romero.
Currently, Gautreaux’s Donuts operates two Acadiana locations, one located in Scott, LA at 608 Westgate Rd. and the other in Rayne, LA. However, after much prayer and consideration, the Gautreaux family have decided to sell & close the Scott location after a 9.5-year run. Their last day open as Gautreaux’s will be Sunday, June 30th, 2019. The Rayne location will remain in business.
Starting July 1st, 2019, the former Gautreaux’s Donuts in Scott will reopen as the new, Landry’s Donuts & Coffee. The new owners will continue to offer the city of Scott delectable donuts, but also, they will be expanding into specialty coffees.
