The former Capital One Bank, located at 3527 W Pinhook and South Park, will soon open as a new, full-service bank, called South Louisiana Bank.
Established in Houma in 1980, South Louisiana Bank has been serving the Lafayette area from their loan production office located on Settlers Trace Blvd. This office is managed by Steve Griffin and Michelle Leblanc. Upon the opening of their new full-service branch on Pinhook, the bank will likely consolidate all of its Lafayette operations at that location. Although no official confirmation has been provided, this assumption is based on information from the bank’s website regarding the new location.
South Louisiana Bank currently operates five full-service locations in Terrebonne Parish, two full-service locations in Lafourche Parish, a single full-service location in Baton Rouge, and the previously mentioned loan production office here in Lafayette.
We do not have official tentative dates for completion, but as it stands and with our best guesstimate, we could see the new South Louisiana Bank at Pinhook completed by early fall of this year, or sooner.
