Downtown Açaí, a new locally owned açaí bowl café, is coming soon to 501 Church Street in Youngsville. The business is owned and operated by the Meyers family, who also run Gracie Jiu Jitsu Youngsville next door.
The café is taking over a space directly connected to their existing business and aims to bring fresh, health-focused food options to the area. The menu will feature açaí bowls, pitaya bowls, superfood smoothies, and healthy energy drinks.

Designed as a casual, family-friendly spot, Downtown Açaí is focused on offering nutritious options made with quality ingredients. The concept was inspired by owner Cortney Meyers’ personal passion for açaí, which began during a trip to California in 2014. Since then, she has visited açaí cafés across the country while traveling for jiu jitsu training.

The buildout is currently underway, and branding is already visible on the windows and exterior signage. Once complete, the space will serve as a wellness-focused addition to the Church Street corridor, combining fitness and nutrition under one roof.
Tentative opening date has not been announced yet for Downtown Açaí.
