A Destin, Florida-based coffee shop & cantina, called Sunrise Coffee Co., is opening soon at 120 Waterview Road in Youngsville’s Sugar Mill Pond.
The locally owned company, owned by Boo Freeman, is a huge hit in Destin’s Santa Rosa Beach, on the 30A Highway.
Sunrise Coffee Co. is described as a laid back, funky coffee shop serving quality brew, food, smoothies, and adult beverages—hence the cantina. The decor is reminiscent of a funky beachfront shop with cool t-shirts, beach-themed colors, surfboards, beach art, and many other goods. You just won’t be able to find hermit crabs for sale, haha.
The goal is to create a sense of resort-style amenities for Sugar Mill’s waterfront shops.
The tentative opening date is planned right after stay-at-home orders are lifted, which should be mid-May—fingers crossed.
