The Apothecary Shoppe, Acadiana’s sole medical marijuana dispensary, is making significant progress on the construction of its new 8,000-square-foot headquarters at 2114 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, near Dulles Drive in Lafayette, Louisiana.

This new facility—approximately 2.5 times larger than the current location—will feature a modern, spa-like atmosphere, an expanded showroom, a dedicated Flower Room, drive-thru services, walk-up ordering kiosks, express pickup, 14 registers, private consultation areas, and a substantial back-of-house space to enhance productivity.
Additionally, the new headquarters will include a Colombian specialty coffee shop operated by NUBE 9, a locally owned, woman-owned small business.

Established in 2019, The Apothecary Shoppe is one of ten dispensaries authorized by the Louisiana Legislature and Louisiana Department of Health to sell medical marijuana to qualified patients. As Acadiana’s only medical marijuana dispensary, it offers a wide range of products, including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals, and vape products—all sourced from Louisiana’s state-approved growers: Good Day Farm and Ilera Holistic Healthcare.

The Apothecary Shoppe currently operates two locations: 620 Guilbeau Rd. in Lafayette and 1700 Center St. in New Iberia. New locations, including a third in Opelousas, are under construction to improve patient access north of Lafayette.
