CAVA, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant, and a new Popeyes restaurant are coming soon to the location in front of Academy Sporting Goods and At Home Store at 4220 Ambassador Caffery, according to documentation & our own reliable sources.
The two restaurants will occupy a two-tenant building designed by architect Trahan Architecture + Planning, LLC, totaling about 5,000 square feet, called the Shoppes on Vermilion. Each tenant space is about +/-2,000 square feet in size. The Popeyes space is designed by Vermillion Architects.
Fronting Academy & At Home
CAVA offers a selection of customizable bowls, salads, and pita sandwiches inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean region. As for Popeye’s, we all know who they are and that their products run deep in our arteries. It’s perfectly seasoned chicken, fire sides, and service that’s hit or miss. But when the service hits, it hits! Sometimes in the face, literally.
We are a little curious though. Will they close the Verot location or will this location operate as a completely new location alongside the closest location? I guess we shall find out. We are not about to call them though!
Groundwork has just started on the structure, so we expect to see this project to come to fruition by the end of the year or sooner, depending on construction progress.
