The new Café, Crêperie & Gelato place, Beau Bassin, in Downtown Carencro opens officially tomorrow. The old building at 203 E. Saint Peter Street, formerly known as the Bank of Lafayette, has been flipped into a modern French café that serves espresso, crêpes and gelato. The sign for Beau Bassin leaves little to no room for mistaking what is served there. Pretty exciting that Carencro is seeing such surge in new places, both local business & franchise, we like them all.
