Arkansas-based 7 Brew Coffee drive-thru is officially coming soon to Lafayette at 4308 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, according to recently issued city permits.
Founded in 2017, the new 511-square-foot drive-thru-only coffee spot is known for its energetic vibe, fast service, and fully customizable drinks. 7 Brew has been expanding quickly across the South, and Lafayette only makes sense as the next city to get one.
What’s so diabolical is that these types of coffee spots go straight for the jugular of the big guys like Starbucks, building right next door to them!

As we recently shared, Dutch Bros Coffee is also coming soon to Johnston Street near the Acadiana Mall across from—you guessed it—a Starbucks. Alongside that, several new Starbucks locations, Scooter’s Coffee, and now 7 Brew are all in the works as Lafayette’s coffee scene continues to expand. And we can’t talk coffee without giving Jet Coffee its flowers for being on the forefront of this seemingly new coffee revolution. They’re locally founded, too. But seriously, Jet Coffee saw this coming. And guess what? This is not the end, friend. Dun Dun Dunnn!

7 Brew Menu
Based on 7 originals, 7 Brew’s menu focuses heavily on personalization. But don’t they all now? They offer a wide range of espresso-based drinks, energy drinks, smoothies, teas, and seasonal items—all available iced, hot, or blended. Their energy drink mixes and flavored iced coffees are popular standouts, especially compared to coffee-first chains like Starbucks. The vibe leans younger and faster with a double-lane drive-thru model built for the need for speed. It is coffee, after all.
Construction should begin soon now that the permit is issued. And as for completion, these builds typically go up quick. Once construction starts, we’re likely looking at a 3–5 business month timeframe before it’s up & running.
