Many have been wondering what the little orange house at 3237 Kaliste Saloom was, and I have the details for you. A music instrument company called Lullaby Sound Design has been working on this location to serve a cultural influence in Acadiana. They build & display a unique style of homemade amps; they’re heirloom quality tube amplifiers that are voiced for fiddle, accordion, guitar, bass, and harp. In 2014, two old houses were moved from Youngsville to serve as a workshop, and showroom & studio. The houses have a wraparound deck that will support acoustic jam sessions led by Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco musicians from around Acadiana.
