Slabs across the thruway area being cleared by the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development. I noticed that the slab at 201 E. 3rd Street across from the Salvation Army is being cleared. Several other slabs are or have been cleared already, which may be preparations for the I-49 project that has been in planning probably since before I was born and I am 29. If this is the prep stage for the I-49 corridor, then we may just see this happen in our lifetime, or most of our life times.
