A new Tropical Smoothie Cafe is coming soon to Broussard, Louisiana, at 1209 Albertson Parkway, inside the former Taco Bell space located at the corner of a retail strip center.
The space previously served as a corner anchor unit for Taco Bell, which vacated the location last year after relocating to a newly constructed standalone restaurant nearby. Renovations are currently underway to convert the former taco chain restaurant into Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a national fast-casual café known for made-to-order fruit-forward smoothies, customizable with add-ins such as protein, vitamins, and energy boosts. The menu also includes toasted wraps, quesadillas, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, smoothie bowls, and breakfast items.
Two of our favorite smoothies are the Sunrise Sunset, blending strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice, and the Açaí Berry Boost, combining açaí, pomegranate, banana, blueberries, and strawberries for a richer berry smoothie. We recently tried the Thai Chicken wrap, which has grilled chicken, carrots, wontons, cilantro, scallions, romaine & Thai peanut sauce. This wrap is so good!
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a locally-owned franchise in the Acadiana area. This new location follows the recently announced Tropical Smoothie Cafe coming soon to Youngsville, LA in the former Zorba’s space.

No tentative opening date has been announced. However, we fully expect the Youngsville location to open first, followed by Broussard.
