Crowley-based Isis Snowballs, known for its creative snowballs, is coming soon to Lafayette, Louisiana at 3221 W Pinhook Road in the former Crawfish Pot space. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the family-run business, bringing its unique snowball treats to a larger customer base.
The new Lafayette location will feature a drive-thru, outside seating, and all of the same vibes that customers love. It will serve its famous snowballs and delicious food, including boiled seafood.
Isis Snowballs was founded in 2008 by Brandon Broussard, who named the business after his daughter, Isis. The venture began with a mission to teach Isis the ins & outs of running her own business. Starting at the age of 14, Isis used her summer breaks to learn everything from managing and marketing to the intricate art of making snowballs. Her creativity and passion led to the development of many of their specialty items that quickly made Isis Snowballs a standout brand. After graduating from Crowley High School in 2012, Isis took full responsibility for the business, transforming it into a tourist attraction that has pulled visitors from across Louisiana, Florida, and even Belgium. The shop’s reputation for its creativity and unique offerings has made it a premium destination for snowball lovers.
“We are so grateful to all those who have faithfully supported us throughout the years, enabling ‘Isis’ to get where we are today,” said Broussard. “We are extremely excited to be able to provide a unique and quality experience to all those who visit us, always sticking to our Core Mission, which is to Serve & Satisfy!”
There is no firm opening date set yet, but the family says they hope to be open in Lafayette before the end of the year. The original Isis Snowballs location at 1706 North Parkerson Ave., Crowley, LA, will continue to operate during normal business hours, and the Broussard family encourages everyone to keep supporting this location!
