New construction in Scott, Louisiana’s West Village development, located at 1012 Apollo Road, will soon be a new 5,000-square-foot mixed-use facility containing a dermatologist office on the ground level with two residential condos on the second level.
The official name of the dermatology practice has not been disclosed as of this post. Having yet to be named, it’s most likely a local dermatologist who is currently employed with another practice. This type of scenario happens more often than not as those folks would like to keep their current position until the new digs are completed and are ready to generate revenue.

As for West Village, this development is shaping up nicely, especially after Apollo Road Extension opened for traffic not long ago. We travel Apollo Road many times a week as it is now one of Lafayette Parish’s major thoroughfares. The access to more traffic is a perfect catalyst for increased growth for the City of Scott and the surrounding areas. We can expect to see plenty more development news coming within the next of years as this becomes a more attractive development zone.
The tentative completion date for this new project in Scott is estimated to be completed later this year or very early 2025.
