A new 12,000 square foot antique mall, called Silk & Cypress, is coming soon to 209 Ida Road in Broussard, LA just off Hwy 90.
The large facility features 10 individual offices, 6,000 square feet of retail space, and 3,000 square feet of warehouse space. The building is equipped with three 14’x16′ overhead doors & 2 large overhead cranes for moving around large objects. The facility also includes over 2.5 acres of gated & lighted limestone parking with available outdoor vendor space.
“I want to create a shopping experience that is completely different than traditional retail. A mix between an antique mall and Restoration Hardware,” says Silk & Cypress owner, Ben Como. “We have a wide variety of items for sale from restored gas pumps and car memorabilia to new apparel and mid century furniture. Also, we have enough space to accommodate up to 50 outside vendors and food trucks.”
Silk & Cypress will operate Thursday – Sunday and will be able to accommodate a wide variety of vendors including personal services, artisans, farmers market vendors, and original or oversize art.
