Hub City Cycles, currently located at 208 E. Vermilion Street, will soon relocate to 501 Jefferson Street—formerly Teche Gift Shoppe.
Right now, Hub City Cycles utilizing a small 1,300 sq ft space for both retail & service repairs. The new space is well over 3,000 sq ft of space, which helps to expand both the retail side and the service side of the business.
“We wanted to be on Jefferson Street where we would have more visibility and foot traffic.”
Meg, the owner of Hub City Cycles, says that being able to share the space with a business like SugarWolf Outdoor Exchange, which is similar to her business, will be beneficial for both overhead costs and bringing more people through their doors.

“We do used bikes and they will be mostly used gear and consignment. So it was an easy decision to merge our businesses together and offer a cool concept that hasn’t been done before in Lafayette.”
Hub City Cycles’ current location will remain open through February with a grand opening for the new location scheduled for March of this year.
