Many of the people of Lafayette have been wondering what is happening to Dillard’s in the mall. I too have been wondering. I know they are in the process if enlarging their store and will cost roughly $6 Million. However, there is ground work across the Dillard’s parking lot across the street. I can honestly say I don’t truly know for a fact what it is. What I can say though is that since the expansion is sucking a lot of the parking spaces up, perhaps it is added parking spaces? I mean, it makes sense that if you’re going to expand, then you will need to add and replace parking spaces for your customers.
As you can see it is a little bigger looking. So, the next photos are what is believed to be new parking.
