Lafayette’s newest creamery, Acadiana Rolled Ice Cream opens tomorrow, April 5th, 2019 at 11 am. Be one of the first 10 guests and you’ll get one free rolled cream. 😉
Located at 2800 W. Pinhook Rd, Suite 7, Acadiana Rolled Ice Cream will serve up fresh, made-to-order ice cream treats made with a variety of flavors and toppings. A menu(shown below) gives you a view into pre-crafted options, but you are also able to create your own. Signature rolls include the Acadiana Banana and Ragin’ Roll. I had a chance to sample the Cinnamon Twist, which is made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, topped with whipped cream & more cereal pieces. It was fantastic, of course.
Within the coming month, Acadiana Rolled Ice Creams plans to roll out dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options. You’ll also be able to enjoy cupcakes & cheesecakes, as well as special seasonal flavors throughout the year.
There are plans to expand the business in the future, but the owners are currently focused on this location.
