A new, 5,500 SF Lafayette General(LGH) Urgent Care is coming soon to the University Hospital & Clinic’s(UHC) campus, located at 1001 Bertrand Drive.
The new, stand-alone LGH Urgent Care at UHC is approximately a $1 million investment and will aid in helping to reduce the volume of cases going into the UHC Emergency Room. This location will also be the first to accept Medicaid, as well as all other health insurance plans.
Hours of operation will be 12 hours/day M-F and 8 hours/ Sat-Sunday.
Groundbreaking will happen soon as it is projected to open in July of 2019.
