A local favorite, Rachael’s Cafe located at 104 Republic Ave, is expanding their dining room & operations! This is great news, because this place is small and always packed.
Expansions will include knocking down walls into a neighboring unit that will allow Rachael’s to offer more inside & outside seating. However, their goal is to expand upon their prep & catering, plus the restaurant will create a retail area for their fit meals to allow for easy pickup without ordering first. Rachael’s will also start offering frozen seafood options for pickup that includes stuffed catfish, crab au gratin, stuffed shrimp & quarts of gumbo.
Rachael’s Cafe is known for their home style cooking with items like chicken fried steak, meatball stew, gumbo and soup. They also serve a number of healthy items like grilled chicken, scallops, tuna steak and those coconut sweet potatoes!
